This "Handling of personal information" regulates the Company's basic policy on personal information, meaning personal information collected and used by Kazuyuki Ishihara Design Laboratory.
As a business that handles personal information (information about living persons and descriptions of name, birth date, and so forth contained in that information, also including numbers attached to individuals that make it possible to identify them), the Company stipulates the following "Personal information protection policy," and observes Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related legal regulations as well as the "Handling of personal information."

Observance of corporate regulations that stipulate the collection, use, and provision of personal information considered appropriate in light of business contents and size.
Devising measures to prevent fraudulent access to personal information, as well as loss, destruction, falsification, and leaking of personal information, and implementing measures to swiftly rectify the situation in the unlikely event of previously described events. Observance of laws and other norms pertaining to personal information.
Continuously improving arrangements for the management of personal information.

Purpose of use

The Company uses personal information within the scope of the following purposes of use, excluding cases when consent has been obtained from the person in advance after specifying the purpose of use as precisely as possible, or when it may be handled exceptionally in accordance with Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and legal regulations.

• ・Notices about new products and services
• ・New information about the Company, notices about seminars and exhibitions
• ・Questionnaire participation requests for customer satisfactions surveys, etc.
• ・Various campaigns
• ・Managing agreements with other businesses
• ・Hiring (incl. recruitment) of employees and human-resource management

In case the personal information needs to be used for purposes other than those described above, consent will be obtained from the person in question, excluding cases when consent has been obtained from the person in advance, or when it may be handled exceptionally in accordance with Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other legal regulations.
Furthermore, the Company may outsource part of operations to contractors and provide them with personal information as required. In such cases, it will be managed appropriately in accordance with legal regulations and criteria set by the Company.

Provision to third party

Personal information collected by the Company will not be shared with or disclosed to any third party, with the following exceptions.

• ・If the person in question has given their consent
• ・If it is necessary for the protection for human life, physical health, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person in question
• ・If it is necessary to disclose or provide it due to other laws or regulations

Disclosing, revising, and discontinue use of registered information

The Company discloses personal information to the person in question when requested to do so as long as it does not obstruct the reasonable execution of business operations. In such cases, the Company will verify the person's identity through means determined by the Company.
In cases where the personal information disclosed to the person in question includes factually incorrect content, the Company will immediately revise this. Moreover, if the person in question requests that the discontinuation of the use of their information, it will be discontinued immediately.

Alterations

The "Handling of personal information" is subject to change without prior notice in case of revisions to relevant laws and regulations, changes to the Company's policy, etc.
